Seed of Faith Tabernacle, a Christian Ministry, was founded by Pastor Richard Earl Blake, in November of 2011. The Lord placed in Pastor Blake’s heart and spirit to lead a church for those near and far, saved and unsaved. To preach and teach the word of God, show the love of Christ and by doing so, enabling men and women of God to develop a intimate relationship with God.
Pastor Blake and his wife Minister Thomasina Blake, held their first service on January 27, 2011, in their home in Stone Mountain, GA, with 2 founding members. With a membership of eleven, food and fellow before Wednesday night Bible study was also held in the home. As the church began to grow, it moved to its present location, also in Stone Mountain in August 2012.
Since its inception, Seed of Faith Tabernacle has provided the word of God through Worship Service and Bible Study, for both children and adults. It is dedicated to serving the community, reaching out to the homeless, those in the extended stay community and the youth.
The vision that was given to Pastor Blake continues to move forward as we grow as a church. It is our prayer that by preaching and teaching the faith building word of God to those that will hear, we can empower them with the measure of faith they need to become pleasing to God, so he may use them for the purpose of his kingdom.
